He's Here! Walk Around Pooh is Here!

Several years ago I was fortunate to be "called" by the Big Head Pooh Costume used in the Disney parks and Sears from 1965 - 1992.  At the time I had never even thought about looking for a park costume knowing how very protective Disney is of their characters.  The person had purchased it, of all places, on eBay years earlier and was looking for a home for him.  Thank goodness for Google because by searching on "Pooh Collector" I was easily found.

So now -- knowing there was the possibility of costumes being "off the reservation" I started searching for the costume I wore at Sears for Kids promotions and store events in the late 80s early 90s.  This was the costume used from 1989 - 2000.

I searched and searched and searched some more.  Finally after almost giving up he "called" me in December of 2020 (one of the only good things about 2020).  Traveling all the way from OR in the original crate used to store it in at the stores.  Wow!!  I can officially check finding him off my "hunnypot list".

I've recounted the steps I took to find the costume in the latest episode of Never Enough Pooh.  If you have a few minutes -- I'd love to share the journey with you.  Please enter the contest associated with the episodes.  If you win I'd love to send you a FREE Pooh Collectible.
