Title: Toro and Moro
Character: Rich (voice)
Released: September 19, 2012
Type: TV
This was my entry to a very old (2004) Channel101 pilot for FX. IT SUCKS! DON’T WATCH IT! Out of all the things I’ve ever made, THIS is the one that I am the most ashamed of. I hesitated to even post it on this website, but that felt like the wrong thing to do. Let me start with the things that I love about this. I love Patton Oswalt as the father. I wrote the character to be like Dave from “Alvin and the Chipmunks” and Patton delivered the goods and then some. I love Rich Fulcher as the battery guy/ dad’s friend. Rich is amazing. I love Laura Silverman as the little girl. in fact, I love all the voices except for Toro and Moro themselves. I also love the character designs and I love the painted backgrounds by Steven Chunn. I love the look overall. It feels nice. But I dropped the ball where it counts the most. The story and the comedy.

Released: June 22, 2010
Type: TV
Mongrels, formerly known under the working titles of We Are Mongrels and The Un-Natural World, is a British puppet-based situation comedy series first broadcast on BBC Three between 22 June and 10 August 2010, with a making-of documentary entitled "Mongrels Uncovered" broadcast on 11 August 2010. A second series of Mongrels began airing on 7 November 2011. The series revolves around the lives of five anthropomorphic animals who hang around the back of a pub in Millwall, the Isle of Dogs, London. The characters are Nelson, a metrosexual fox; Destiny, an Afghan hound; Marion, a "borderline-retarded" cat; Kali, a grudge-bearing pigeon; and Vince, Nelson's friend, a sociopathic foul-mouthed fox. The show is aimed at an adult audience, features "neutering, incontinence, cannibalism and catnip overdoses" and humour styles such as slapstick and farce. For example, the first episode begins with a scene in which Marion, portrayed as desperately trying to revive his deceased owner, learns she has actually been dead for four months, whereupon he casually gives his cat friends permission to eat her. Crossballs: The Debate Show is a Comedy Central television show which poked fun at cable news networks' political debate shows, especially CNN's Crossfire and MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews. In each episode, comedians posing as experts on a particular subject would debate two real commentators. The true experts were unaware that the show was a sham. Topics ranged from reality television to religion to violence in video games. It debuted on July 6, 2004 and ran for eight weeks. It aired Tuesday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The twenty-third and final episode aired on August 24, 2004. Show number 24 was taped but never aired, after one of the unsuspecting guests, James March, threatened to sue Comedy Central.
