Nowadays it is difficult to get away from stars, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion.  Social media such as Youtube has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is challenging.

Well, if you are looking for a speaker in Monterey who is not a celebrities, sports persons, politician and who is above average in fun you have come to the right place.

I would enjoy sharing my collecting experience with the guests at your next Monterey breakfast or get-together.

I am pleased to bring a entertaining and engaging Pooh slideshow presentation.  During arrival mingle time I can also share entertaining Pooh Quiz Questions and Winnie-the-Pooh quotes with a musical background.

There is nothing I relish doing more than share stories of my collecting journeys so if you need 45 minutes or four hours filled – I am much like a gas and can fill any time frame you need.

A brief background:

I am privileged to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record multiple times.  My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000.  Who knew there were so many things.

I very much love collecting Winnie-the-Pooh “items”.   Many Monterey individuals think of stuffies, figurines or books when they imagine the keepsakes.  The collection, however, takes into account so much more: cooking tools, bracelets, hats, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many magnificent “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people.  I would appreciate meeting your amazing invitees in Monterey.
