No Way Out (2003) was the fourth annual (fifth overall) No Way Out PPV. It was presented by Starburst, took place on February 23, 2003 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec and starred the promotion's Raw and SmackDown! brands. The main event from the SmackDown! brand was a rematch from WrestleMania X8 between Hulk Hogan and The Rock. The main event from the Raw brand was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Triple H and Scott Steiner. ECW Wrestlepalooza '95, the first Wrestlepalooza professional wrestling event produced by Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), took place on August 5, 1995 at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States. Four matches from Wrestlepalooza were aired in syndication on the August 15 and August 22, 1995 episodes of ECW Hardcore TV.

The third Wrestling Dontaku was held on May 3, 1995, in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, at the Fukuoka Dome. The event featured eleven matches, two of which were contested for championships. For the third year in a row, wrestlers from World Championship Wrestling (WCW) took part in the event.

Collision in Korea was the largest professional wrestling pay-per-view event ever that was jointly produced by World Championship Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. It took place over a period of two days on April 28 and 29, 1995, but did not air in North America until August 4, 1995, when WCW broadcast a selection of matches from the show on pay-per-view. The 1993 WWF Survivor Series took place on Thanksgiving Eve, November 24, 1993 at the Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The event featured four tag-team elimination matches and a bout for the Smoky Mountain Wrestling Tag Team Championship. The main event match saw the All-Americans, a team of face wrestlers from the United States, competing against the Foreign Fanatics, a team of heels that represented other countries. In an undercard match, four members of the Hart family competed against Shawn Michaels and a group of masked men. The original plan was for the Harts to face Jerry Lawler, with whom they were feuding, but Lawler was not able to appear at the event.

WWE SummerSlam '93 was the sixth annual SummerSlam. It took place on August 30, 1993 at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. All three championships were defended at SummerSlam. The Steiner Brothers defended the WWF Tag Team Championship against The Heavenly Bodies, and Shawn Michaels defended the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Mr. Perfect. The main event saw Lex Luger challenge Yokozuna for the WWF Championship. In addition to the title matches, Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler were scheduled to wrestle to settle their feud and determine who would be named "Undisputed King of the World Wrestling Federation."

WrestleMania IX was built around two main storylines. The first was the seemingly unstoppable Yokozuna challenging Bret Hart for the WWF Championship, a right he earned by winning the 1993 Royal Rumble. The other major storyline was the return of Hulk Hogan, who had departed the WWF following WrestleMania VIII but returned to team with Brutus Beefcake against the WWF Tag Team Champions, Money Inc. Several reviewers have been critical of the event. The most frequent criticism has been related to the match between The Undertaker and Giant Gonzalez, Hulk Hogan's win, and the Roman togas worn by announcers. Both the pay-per-view buyrate and the attendance for the event dropped from the previous year's WrestleMania.

Royal Rumble (1993) was the sixth annual Royal Rumble. It took place on January 24, 1993 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The main event was a Royal Rumble match, a battle royal in which two wrestlers started the match in the ring; every two minutes, another wrestler joined. In total, thirty wrestlers competed to eliminate their competitors by throwing them over the top rope of the wrestling ring onto the arena floor. The Clash of the Champions XX was a major professional wrestling supercard produced by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and broadcast live on TBS on September 2, 1992 from the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta. The event was not only the 20th time WCW held a "Clash of the Champions" show but also marked the 20th anniversary of professional wrestling being shown on TBS as Mid-Atlantic Wrestling in 1972. The show was held at the Center Stage Theater, the same location where most of WCW's regular TBS show WCW Saturday Night were taped at the time. It was also the final wrestling TV appearance for Andre The Giant, who died several months later.

The 1992 WCW Great American Bash took place on July 12, 1992 at the Albany Civic Center in Albany, Georgia. The main event was a tournament for the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championship between the teams of Steve Austin with Rick Rude, Dustin Rhodes with Barry Windham, Jushin Liger with Brian Pillman, The Fabulous Freebirds, Hiroshi Hase with Shinya Hashimoto, Nikita Koloff with Ricky Steamboat, and Terry Gordy with Steve Williams. A second main event was Sting defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Big Van Vader.

Clash of the Champions XIX took place on June 16, 1992 in Charleston, South Carolina at the McAlister Field House of The Citadel. The event aired on TBS on June 22, 1992. There were 4600 fans in attendance and the show drew a 2.8 rating on TBS.

WCW Beach Blast '92 took place on June 20, 1992 and emanated from The Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama. The main event was a WCW World Tag Team Championship match featuring the Steiner Brothers defending against the Miracle Violence Connection (Terry Gordy & Steve Williams). Other primary matches were Ricky Steamboat versus Rick Rude in a 30 minute Iron Man Challenge match, Sting vs Cactus Jack in a Falls Count Anywhere match, and Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham & Nikita Koloff versus The Dangerous Alliance with Ole Anderson as the special guest referee. Starrcade '91: Battlebowl: The Lethal Lottery was the ninth annual Starrcade professional wrestling pay-per-view event. It was the fourth Starrcade event produced by WCW, and it took place on December 29, 1991 from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. The event solely featured the Battlebowl battle royal and its qualifying matches. Forty wrestlers were chosen at random to form ten pairs of tag teams. Each pair competed in a match, and the winning team advanced to Battlebowl. This was the first Starrcade event to not feature Ric Flair.

WCW Starrcade '90: Collision Course was the eighth annual Starrcade professional wrestling PPV event produced under the NWA banner. It was the third Starrcade event produced by WCW, and the last PPV event held by the NWA. It took place on December 16, 1990 from the Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis, Missouri. The main event was a steel cage match between Sting and The Black Scorpion for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Other matches included a Street Fight between Doom and the team of Arn Anderson and Barry Windham for the NWA World Tag Team Championship, and a Texas Lariat match between Stan Hansen and Lex Luger for the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship. The event also hosted the Pat O'Connor Memorial International Cup Tag Team Tournament.

Lex Luger defended the NWA US Championship against Stan Hansen while the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Doom, defended against Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Other matches included Junkyard Dog vs Moondog Rex, The Steiner Brothers vs The Nasty Boys, The Freebirds vs The Renegade Warriors, and 3 other matches.

WCW Clash of The Champions XII took place on September 5, 1990 at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina. There were 4,000 fans in attendance and the show drew a 5.0 rating on TBS. The Master Blasters debuted at this event, however, after approximately one week Iron was replaced by Blade. Ric Flair was disqualified due to interference by Stan Hansen. After their match, Sting attempted to unmask the Black Scorpion, tearing away his black mask only to reveal a red mask underneath. The Scorpion quickly escaped when the "real" Black Scorpion appeared on the entrance ramp. Although he was never truly unmasked, the Black Scorpion that Sting wrestled was Al Perez.

The Great American Bash '90 took place on July 7, 1990 at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The main event was Ric Flair defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Sting. Mark Callous challenged Lex Luger for the NWA US Championship, Doom defended the NWA World Tag Team Championships against the Rock 'n' Roll Express, The Four Horsemen fought Paul Orndorff, Junkyard Dog, and El Gigante, and The Steiner Brothers wrestled The Fabulous Freebirds. Other matches included Big Van Vader vs Tom Zenk, Mike Rotunda vs Iron Sheik, and 4 other matches.

WCW Capital Combat: The Return of Robocop was a one time professional wrestling PPV event from the NWA held under the WCW name. It took place on May 19, 1990 from the D.C. Armory in Washington, D.C.. It featured a promotional crossover with the upcoming release of RoboCop 2, with RoboCop appearing during the PPV. The main event was Ric Flair versus Lex Luger in defense of Flair's NWA Heavy Weight Championship. Doom challenged the NWA Tag Team Champions, The Steiner Brothers, Rock 'n' Roll Express competed against The Freebirds in a Corporal Punishment match, Paul Ellering fought Teddy Long in a hair vs hair match, and Mark Callous (later to become The Undertaker) wrestled Johnny Ace (later to become the WWE's Exec. VP of Talent Relations).
