However, Otoshi was hiding Inosuke. Driven by Otoshi's plea and a professional instinct that Inosuke wasn't the perpetrator, Denhichi desperately searched for the real culprit.

To fund the renovations, Nikkei accepted bribes from a corrupt merchant named Koya Bunzo.
