Leut has to cancel his wedding with Lam Duan. A few months later, while Lam Duan is pregnant, Leut and his ruffians see her buying groceries. They kidnap her and rape her. Ashamed, she hangs herself (ผูกคอตาย) in front of a Takhian tree. Lam Duan is dead but her spirit still wants to stay with Tien.
