A stranger armed with a shotgun takes seven patrons hostage in a remote roadside diner. But as the body count increases, the desperate survivors discover that one of the hostages may be even more dangerous than their captor.

The Assistants is a Canadian sitcom that aired from 10 July 2009 to 11 September 2009. The series is the second original comedy to air on the Nickelodeon channel, The N after the series About a Girl.

The senior class plans to have a skip-day party at the principal's house until Adam Harris leaks the secret, so he decides to save the celebration by hosting it at his house.

Riddled with guilt over the loss of his rock star older brother, 16 year old David Forrester becomes obsessed with death, leading his misguided parents to send him to Driftwood, an "Attitude Adjustment Camp for Troubled Youths" run by the sadistic Captain Doug Kennedy and his brutal young henchman, Yates.

Like other teens in California, the lives of the Laguna Beach teenagers are filled with sandy beaches, beautiful friends and love triangles. But unlike other teens, they had cameras following them around. It may look like fantasyland, but they're not acting: they really are this rich and beautiful. For them, life really is a day at the beach.
