Vocalists from across Quebec, Canada compete in a blockbusters vocal competition. The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: the blind auditions, the battle rounds, the knockouts and, finally, the live performance shows.

Star Académie is a Canadian reality TV series started in 2003, aimed primarily at the Quebec television audience, featuring an array of young women and men competing for the title of the best singer. It is the Québécois adaptation of the French television show Star Academy produced by Netherlands company Endemol, based on the Spanish format called Operación Triunfo. There have been seasons in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009, and 2012.

Patrice Bélanger and his team are here to give Quebecers a little boost to their lives with this show where fun and pleasure prevail. With a front row seat to events happening across the province, the show is the reference for summer culture. Above and beyond the artists featured, the show puts our entire province in the spotlight.

Réal and François are two old buddies in their early 30s who reunite at last to unearth a time capsule bottle which contains their dreams and ambitions from 15 years earlier. The problem is, their little treasure is buried on a plot of land that now belongs to a grumpy old coot, Antoine. Paying big bucks to get at their bottle, they discover that Antoine's daughter, Lea is trying to become pregnant and seeks the help of a gay friend to do it. Back in boyhood mode, Lea becomes the object of their desire.

Midi Première is a French variety show presented by Danièle Gilbert, directed by Jacques Pierre and broadcast from January 6, 1975 until January 1, 1982 on TF1. The program was generally broadcast between 12:15 p.m. and 12:55 p.m., then giving way to the 1:00 p.m. TV news. However, the broadcast schedule could change, depending on the guests, and the setting where the recording of the program was shot. Certain performances by artists who have become cult like the one where Ringo jostles with a demonstrator in interpretation (1977), that of Dalida with the title There is always a song with the soundtrack that does not start, twice, at the right speed (1978), Claude François and his Clodettes, who, in the provinces, are unable to join "the set" in order to interpret his song, the latter being taken by the crowd of delirious fans (summer 1977) . The group Supertramp performed there with the title "Dreamer" on March 8, 1975.
