Andee Frizzell

Andee Frizzell is a 6' tall Canadian actress and voice actress, known for playing The Wraith Queen on Stargate Atlantis.

Her most notable appearances have been as several adult female Wraith Queens on Stargate: Atlantis (2004-2008) as the Keeper in the pilot episode of the spin-off, the Hive Queen in Season Two's The Hive and as Michael's Hive Queen in the season 2 finale, Allies.

She has appeared in several other TV series including First Wave (2001), Andromeda (2002), Supernatural (2007), Mistresses (2015), and Frequency (2016). She played the starring role of Abigail Van Helsing in the TV series Van Helsing (2017-2018).

She was the narrator for season 1 of ID's true-crime series Fear Thy Neighbor.

First Wave is a Canadian/American science fiction television series, filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that aired from 1998 to 2001 on the Sci-Fi Channel. The show was created by Chris Brancato, who co-wrote an early version of the script for the seminal X-Files episode "Eve". Francis Ford Coppola was executive producer on the show. In an unusual move, the Sci-Fi Channel picked up the series on a 66-episode contract. The show was subsequently canceled once the contract expired at the end of the third season due to disappointing ratings.
