Aileen Britton (1916 – 19 April 1986) was an Australian actress.

Britton made her acting debut in Tall Timbers in 1937. She then worked on stage until the reemergence of Australian cinema in the mid-1970s.

Solo One is an Australian television series made by Crawford Productions for the Seven Network and screened in 1976. There were 13 half hour episodes. The series was a spin-off from the police show Matlock Police with Paul Cronin reprising his role as Sen. Const. Gary Hogan, but tailored for a younger audience. It was set in the real country town of Emerald in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne and used the town's actual police station. In the series Hogan sorts out problems for the locals. His call sign is Solo One.

Long John Silver is the proud captain of his own ship and his own crew. He and his buccaneer cruise around the Caribbean and often stay on the side of the English and fight the French and Spanish. After the long and dangerous adventures, he and his crew rest in the tavern of Miss Purity. This series aired in the United States first on Syndicated basis in 1956, but not on a regular basis and completely random as part of another show. Several episodes were edited together and shown as movies in the cinemas under the titles: Under The Black Flag and South Sea Pirates. After that it was sold to the ITV Network in the UK, and aired in 1957. In 1958 Australian ABC screened the series as part of Children's TV Club show.
