A Visigoth count conquers a small village town from the Moors in the Lusitanian mountains, only to loose his possessions through the mysterious workings of a woman from parts unknown.

Maduro, D. Lourenço manages to take away Joao Bolandas, to be with the woman, Florinda, his old love, that returns that feeling to him. Simão discovers the mother's connection with D. Lourenço and, from then on, only one desire guides him: to kill Florinda's lover.

A famous singer conducts two relationships at once, with a businesswoman and her secretary. He marries the woman, has children from both, and all goes well for him until one fateful day, when his two sons come to know that he is parent of both, at school.

Jorge, a former marine who arrived from Angola, is employed as a butler in a house in S. Pedro do Estoril, where the brothers Teresa and Carlos live, who have many friends "ié-ié", among whom stands out Manela, for whom Jorge ends up falling in love... after all, Jorge is the real owner of the residence, and he decided to take a closer look at the lives of his cousins, who settled there, during his absence overseas.

Professor Hermes conducts a research on fear, for which he passes contract with a patient to live a supposedly empty mansion. He's counting on his assistant Chico Mota to play a phantom, but soon comes about that there are phantoms (plural) in there.
