The drama is about five men and women who have gone off the rails in their lives and are trying to start their lives over by playing the role of a fake family based on the underworld part-time job case.

Akira Iwamori works as a doctor. He is looking for his wife, who went missing. He takes his daughter to visit his wife's hometown village of Uzukawa. While in Uzukawa, the village suddenly becomes isolated due to a landslide caused by heavy rain. The villagers becomes filled with anxiety and a murder takes place. The tense village people become violent. Akira is soon drawn into a power struggle in Uzukawa. He learns new information about his wife's whereabouts.

Satoru Matsudo moves to Tokyo in hopes of becoming an actor. He has trouble breaking into the industry, but his luck begins to change when he finds an airplane ticket belonging to a talent agency CEO. Time passes, and Satoru makes a name for himself as an actor. He gets a call from America. Hoping it is a Hollywood offer, he instead hears about his estranged older brother.

Toshi-chan and BB live in a hut with a blue sheet on the banks of the Tama River. Having lived there for several years, they are familiar with the area. Nao, a young female actress from a small theatre company, visits Toshi-chan and BB one day. She is playing a heroine who has a grand romance with the leader of homeless men in her next performance and asks to interview them. This is the beginning of a long night for the trio…

He views Ayaka as a sister. Meanwhile, Ayaka works at a construction site during the day but works at a girl's bar at night. She has lost her sexual identity. While working at the girl's bar, female customer Kuroda Azusa approaches Ayaka.
