A reimagining of the myth of Faust, in which a documentary director and her producer investigate a number of celebrities.

New York City, October 10, 1965. A group of wooden giant figures from Pamplona, representing Basque culture and traditions, parade down the street; but the local authorities have not allowed the appearance of all of them: due to the racial prejudices that persist in many sectors of society, the participation of two black giants has been banned.

With its expert and attractive crime squad run by these two, Barcelona can be proud of its homicide team: Xavi, independent, impulsive, enigmatic, with a well-functioning network of contacts on the city‘s dark side; and his charming partner Fina, a single mother and self-confident beauty. They‘re never far behind the plotters and schemers who prefer to do their dark dealings after sunset. Their cases take them throughout the Catalan metropolis – out to its suburbs and deep into the heart of the medieval city. With puzzling mysteries waiting to be solved, Xavi and Fina have lots to do before crimes are mercilessly stopped.

The film spans 30 years in Julieta’s life from a nostalgic 1985 where everything seems hopeful, to 2015 where her life appears to be beyond repair and she is on the verge of madness.

Two youths, Niño and Compi, enter the world of drug smuggling in the Strait of Gibraltar; while two police officers, Jesús and Eva, try to eradicate the contraband.
