Alex Beckett (1982-2018) was a Welsh actor famous for his role as Perfect Curve hipster Barney Lumsden in the BBC2 comedy Twenty Twelve and its spin-off W1A. His theatre credits included Grimly Handsome at the Royal Court, Headlong's Pygmalion and Edward II at the National Theatre, whilst his film credits included the 2014 Paolo Sorrentino film Youth. He was performing in The Way of the World at the Donmar when he died suddenly at the age of 35.
