A fairly conventional romance of an American heiress, loved by boy back home, bedazzled by a glamorous prince in beautiful Italian surroundings.

An actor playing Othello in a stage production of Shakespeare's play becomes jealous of his wife's supposed infidelity and seems bound to kill her in the scene in which she, enacting Othello's falsely accused wife Desdemona, is murdered by her jealous husband.

When newlywed Robert Ellis suspects that his missing wife is having a clandestine affair, he appeals to his friend, Pat Murphy, to find her. Pat's search leads him to the Waldorf-Astoria where he finds a woman named Edna Ellis and, assuming that she is Ellis' errant wife, kidnaps her and returns her to Ellis. Complications arise when the real Mrs. Ellis arrives home and discovers another woman. After several comic incidents, Pat falls in love with Edna and Ellis learns that his wife's secret rendezvous was with her sister.

Struggling young painter Ruth Elliott has written her Eastern friend Mildred Colburn that she has gained fame in the West as an artist. When Mildred stops to visit on her way to Honolulu, Ruth hires Peter Neyland to pose as her chauffeur for five hours. Peter is actually a wealthy young man who accepts the offer as a lark.

A playwright revives a murdered girl

When Pete Milholland (Owen Moore) goes on a drunken spree, his fiancee, Alice Gardner (Eva Francis), gives him back his ring. Still woozy, he stumbles out of his home to leave for Europe and winds up at Coney Island. There he meets a pretty dancer, Tessie (Irene Fenwick), and decides she can heal his broken heart. Tessie and her father view him dubiously, and her sweetheart, Jan the boatman (William Bailey), is furious. But Pete insists on bringing Tessie and her father into his social circle.

This is a visualization of the life of patriot Nathan Hale which is based on a play by Clyde Fitch. Robert Warwick plays Nathan (and does a fine job) and Gail Kane the girl whom he loves (Alice Adams).

Through a real estate purchase Daniel Gaynor acquires all rights in the waterway leading from Moose River to the mill. The original owner has never made use of his rights, but Gaynor, whose one thought is to get power, refuses to allow logs to be floated down the river running through his property. The men resent this injustice, and there is a fight between Gaynor and Bill Jackson, Bill representing the lumbermen.

Linnie Carter, a cabaret entertainer, struggles to remain innocent in the midst of the fast life. Harry Sullivan, a gangster, becomes attentive to Linnie and asks her to marry him and, believing that his intentions are sincere, she accepts. When Linnie's friend Irma Wood and her husband Billy, who plays a clown in a cabaret act, discover that Harry has no intention of marrying Linnie and that Linnie is in danger, they rescue her from a phony marriage ceremony and force her to face the truth about Harry.

Margot, the motherless daughter of a New England fisherman, dreams of a better life. After rescuing the wealthy Jack Rutledge's mother, Margot is taken in by the family. Jack and Margot fall in love against the will of his mother and must find a way to marry.
