Ironically, the FSO's vigilant employees put surveillance on the wrong subject and while the real head of state plunges into commonness, goes on a road trip with fellow traveler Zina, Valera gladly enjoys the presidential service, simultaneously voicing opinions on foreign and domestic policy issues ...

A chronicle of Russia's transition from communism to capitalism.

Russia, early 90s. A fictional story inspired by financier Sergey Mavrodi, his securities company "MMM", and the pyramid scheme he ran that left upwards of fifteen million investors with nothing when it crashed.

Five short love stories, which become a statement of the directors about love. Her husband, Gena, is a shoe store manager, likes to hang around in the garage and watch football with friends. Their daughter Sveta is a student of high school, changes the guys every week. And their son Roma is playing computer thew whole day and intrigues sister. Bukins quarrel at least once a day - so they have fun. They have been together for 16 years and still love each other. This is the happiest family in the world.

Policeman Pavel Kravtsov is a rather strange man. If he has to handcuff someone, he apologizes and asks if he is pressing. He is ambitious but honest; he is young but thoughtful. With such inclinations, you can't really make a career in the city police. So a city man, senior Lieutenant Kravtsov, gets through to the remote village of Anisovka by an ordinary district police officer.
