A rather standard costume action/drama set in medieval China with a few fantasy overtones.

During the Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty, eunuch Cao Huachun colludes with the Qing dynasty to seize the throne. Princess Changping and her sister Zhaoren seek the help of Zhou Shixian and Yuan Ruofei to eliminate Cao. Li Zicheng's rebels invade the capital and are rescued by the East Sea Fairy, who teaches them martial arts. The Qing then conquer the Central Plains, and Ping and Shixian pretend to submit to the Qing to save Ruofei. However, they have their own hidden agenda.

Lee Ting-hong joins Guangji Hospital, where he meets the chairwoman's daughter, Xue Baoqi. They initially misunderstand each other but eventually become a couple. As they witness patients, and even acquaintances, die mysteriously, they investigate and discover that the events are related to the hospital's director, Tang Zhiyang, and the chief surgeon, Guo Weicheng.

In order to eradicate the revolutionary chaotic party, Yuan Shikai sent people to design the murder of Huang Qiying and his wife, and his son Huang Feihong was falsely accused and imprisoned. Brother Bu Qingyun betrayed Shikai and was assassinated, and Fei Hong vowed to fight wits and strength with Shikai and others in order to help Qingyun avenge and fulfill his last wish.

Kao has purchased a new wife, but an enemy has paid her more money to kill him. Kao must recruit a pair of swordsmen to help defend himself and his family from his ruthless enemy. But Kao has his dark side as well.

Reincarnated is a 60 episode 1979 wuxia television series and was produced and aired by Rediffusion Television in Hong Kong and also a series of books, TV and films written by Wong Ying who co-wrote some of Gu Long stories, such as the Six Spine-Chilling Stories Series and other people.

Hong Kong crime movie from 1978

Jia Yucun, a scholar, is exiled to Yangzhou and becomes a guest of the salt inspector, Lin Ruhai. He teaches Lin's daughter, Lin Daiyu, and escorts her to the Jia family's Rongguo Mansion. Jia Yucun helps Daiyu's uncle, Jia Zheng, and is reinstated. Daiyu becomes close to her cousin, Jia Baoyu, but Wang Xifeng, a daughter-in-law, schemes to marry Baoyu to Xue Baochai, a relative of the family's matriarch. When Baoyu falls ill after losing a jade, the family forces him to marry Xue Baochai, pretending that she is actually Daiyu. Daiyu is heartbroken and dies shortly after. The family eventually declines, and Baoyu becomes a monk.

Yun Lei's grandfather Yun Jing was detained by Zhang Zongzhou for many years during his mission to the Wa State on behalf of the Ming Dynasty, and later died as a result of being punished by Emperor Yingzong of Ming. Yun Lei swears to avenge him. Disguised as a man, Yun Lei goes to Beijing to find her long-lost brother Yun Zhong, and meets Zhang Danfeng and Shi Cuifeng, which leads to a series of complications. Eventually, Zhang Danfeng decides to abandon his personal grudges and prioritizes sending a map of military affairs to the official Yu Qian, while resolving to resolve the feud between the Zhang and Yun families in his own way.

Huo, a famous master of the Huo family, defeats the Zhao family in a challenge and gains fame. He later fights foreign boxers to defend Chinese martial arts. When the mobster finds that Fan Ming is a policeman, Leung ambushes him and Huan Fai and his men stab the officer that falls from a cliff into the sea. Kim brings Fan Ming's fiancée Ipi Feng to the house of his lover, the prostitute Hung, and tells Ipi Feng that her fiancé was murdered by Leung. She decides to revenge the death of her beloved Fan Ming with tragic consequences.

A King Boxer named Chow (Meng Fei) visits a friend in Thailand. She introduces him to her boyfriend, who's a Thai boxer. Chow saves the Thai boxer from some thugs and the two become friends. Chow teaches him the knife style. Meanwhile back in China, Chow's brother and sister look after his kung fu school. A Japanese martial artist (Kurata) visits the school looking for Chow. Kurata fights and beats his brother instead and develops strong liking for Chow's sister. Chow returns to China and has to defend his school's honor against Kurata.

Plotting to obtain the Yen family's land, dastardly Japanese plutocrat Omura bribes Yen nephew Hsu Chien to steal the family seal and land deed. When Hsu Chien is caught in the act, he viciously beats elderly Master Yen to death to cover his actions. Cathay Classic, Paul Chang and Melinda Chen star in this melodramatic Wu Xia picture. Sammo Hung is in the first minute or two as a duelist in the tournament and probably directed the fights.

Chor Yuen was Gu Long before he started filming Gu Long. The director's first wuxia film, made at Shaws' rival Cathay, finds him relishing in a mode of expression that would later become the signature style of the 'martial-arts suspense thriller' mini-genre. Chor grafts the quasi-psychological stylishness of his Cantonese melodrama onto this actioner, laying on thick the atmosphere by dialling up the fog machine and unleashing the colours from his camera's palette. He also stages his fights in modern dance-like choreography, with moves that are more graceful than ferocious and paused poses that are longer on expressive narcissism than continuity of action. Cold Blade is the quiet beginning of an aesthetic.

In "Forbidden Killing" Melinda Chen Man-Ling plays a highly trained swords woman who gets involve in a power struggle between two groups mandarins in the government.

The Great Plot is a Hong Kong Martial Arts movie

Ming dynasty traitors have sent a secret message in a jade goddess statuette, containing their plans of treason to help tribal warlords usurp power from the Ming government.
