The titular Marie-Louise is a young French lass who is evacuated to Switzerland when her country is overrun by the Nazis. Suffering a nervous breakdown, she is given comfort and shelter by a wealthy family. Unfortunately, living in the lap of luxury makes Marie-Louise hesitant to return home to her mother and war torn home. Eventually the girl comes to her senses, but it isn't easy.

Two police inspectors track down a mysterious criminal who signs his crimes with a fiery triangle. When they have just discovered an accomplice, one of the police officers, in love with the young girl, is shot dead. His colleague will then have only one goal in mind.

Lilian, a rich young girl, is to marry Baron de Plessis, captain of the bobsleigh team. However, Lilian is interested in Tressac, the captain of the opposing team. When everyone discovers that the baron is a burglar, Lilian can marry her lover.

Fresh out of prison a small-time crook finds his girlfriend's dropped him, which sends him into a murderous rage.

In the very oldfashioned town of Ostend suddenly 13 suitcases are delivered to the hotel, with a note, that O.F. will be here soon and needs 6 rooms (the hotel just has five). This event, probably the biggest in 300 years, starts a small wave of modernisation, yet everybody is wondering who O.F. is. Journalist Stix and architect Stark have an idea how to use this event. They proclaim, that O.F. is a former citizen of the town, who became a millionaire abroad. They tell their fellow citizens that the town still needs modernisation, like better hotels, nightclubs, shops, etc. And soon, Ostend is a boomtown, then a capital. The architect, responsible for the new buildings is finaly allowed to marry the mayor's daughter, while Stix marries the cabaret star and the widowed mayor his new secretary. The only problem is, O.F. hasn't shown up, while finance experts from all over the world are trying to solve the depression problem.

Simultaneously made French version of "Ihre Hoheit Befiehlt": An officer, posing as a deli clerk, and a princess, posing as a manicurist, meet at a ball. The court especially the prime minister oppose a marriage, for political reasons.

Film in the style of a magazine. Various topics, e.g. reading from the book "Ich lasse Dich nicht"; explanation of how a telephone conversation between Berlin and New York works; making a martini; sports teacher Siegfried Dietrich on gymnastic exercises; a sketch; a pop song; revue girls. Maria Ney hosts the program.

A Tyrolean mountain guide comes under suspicion of killing a tourist.
