In October 2019, The Dammed took the stage at London’s Palladium for a very special, immersive musical and theatrical experience. A Night of A Thousand Vampires teams the band with the cast of The Circus of Horrors for an evening of shock, awe, and a fierce live rampage through their 40-year rich catalogue. A true event from showmen supreme, it was a historic night in the history of a storied band and a memorable evening for fans and band alike. It was also a fond farewell for drummer Pinch, his final gig with The Dammed after 20 years.

Formed in 1974 by a group of school friends from Croydon, Johnny Moped were the band fronted by, and named after, the enigmatic Paul Halford aka Johnny Moped. By 1977 the group found themselves at the heart of the burgeoning punk scene in London and for a brief moment even looked like contenders. Despite being able to count both Chrissie Hynde and Captain Sensible as past members, success was not to come their way and Johnny Moped are now largely forgotten, punk rock's great lost band. Their story is however a fascinating one that, along with some of the era's most innovative music deserves to be heard.

The Damned continued to fuel the ardent fires of old fans and new long after the flames of The Sex Pistols and The Clash had been extinguished. Final Damnation is a testament to their longevity and popularity, reeking as it does of fannish glee. It's essentially a document about the legendary reunion concert at London's Town and Country Club in June, 1988, a 17-song set of "chaos music".
