TV Tokyo's 60th anniversary special drama. This is a human drama about a doctor struggling with his life and a patient who has been told he has little time left to live, as they travel around the world in search of answers to the eternal questions of what people live for and what they leave behind.

The newlywed couple then move to an apartment and they attend a resident’s meeting there. Nana and Shota become involved in murder cases that take place at the apartment. Residents get murdered one by one. Some residents have a motive, but those suspects have an alibi. Because of this, an arrest has yet to be made.

Satsuki Takashima's father Rokuro Shinonome has been missing for twenty five years. She obtains information and a lead and travels to a village to find the missing man. She finds her father and finds out he has a new family now.
