Terry Hughes is a British Emmy Award-winning television director.

Hughes has directed or written for The Two Ronnies, The Golden Girls, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Friends, and series such as Ripping Yarns amongst other shows.

In 1972 he was producer for the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest.

Other than television Hughes has also directed films such as Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl (which he co-directed with Ian MacNaughton) and The Butcher's Wife.

Hughes now lives in Texas.
