Familiye tells the story of an ex-con who, after his release from prison, has to care for his two younger brothers. One of whom is a gambling addict, the other has Down Syndrome.

Cleaning plans, empty beer crates and an exploding coffee machine are the least of the problems in the Kreuzberg shared apartment of Julian Meier, Kasimir Müller and Max Schmidt - the three boys couldn't be more different.
