Momo is a young orphan girl who lives in the ruins of an old Roman amphitheater and becomes friends with everybody in the neighborhood. But when a powerful international corporation starts stealing everybody’s time, nobody has any time left for her, let alone their friends or families. Momo, together with Master Hora, the custodian of time, are the only ones who can go up against the time thieves before all is lost forever.

Aurora Rumelin is happy because the noble writer Leopold Sacher-Masoch has asked for her hand. Little by little the marriage goes into crisis mainly because Leopold asks his wife to beat him before sexual relations and to treat him like a slave. Both spouses have lovers and, in the end, the marriage ends in divorce.

Ciro Varelli is a Don Juan who works in a bookshop, a job to which he dedicates himself without too much effort while he spends his days in the company of his friends Leopoldo, a student outside the course, Flavio - who has a conflicted relationship with the opposite sex - and Pippo . The rescue of a dog named Mazzarino will allow him to impress the wealthy Goldoni family, but not everything will go as planned.

After a year in Europe, the young Samantha, daughter of a prominent American politician returns home. She is convinced that she was sent home because she was romantically linked to Nat Brook, a black revolutionary. After one of his numerous protests against violence, Nat feels he is being followed by two men sent by her father . But in the duel that follows the young revolutionary knocks out the two stalkers . Then he breaks it off with Samantha because, beyond the his feelings for her, she is starting to feel like a burden to his protesting activities.
