David Bortolucci is the son of Luigi and Giussepina who were both born in northern Italy. He is the youngest of four children and is a Canadian Citizen. Was raised in the Jane and Finch Corridor of Toronto. When David was three years old, his father passed away. His mother never remarried. David's career began in commercials and TV guest spots in Canada. He attended Ryerson University in Toronto, but dropped out in his final year to pursue acting. His first job as an actor was a "Coca-Cola" commercial when he was 16 years old. Married Jessica Ann Wilson on July, 8 1999 and divorced on July, 23 2003 and is the former son-in-law of Ann Pennington. He lives in Los Angeles, California.

Was featured in a "Pizza Hut" boxing commercial alongside Muhammad Ali and his real-life trainer Angelo Dundee. Made to air during the Super Bowl, the ad campaign was pulled at the very last moment for being too violent. It was estimated that it cost Pizza Hut tens of millions of dollars.
