Alec Christian Heroux was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, U.S.A. to Robert Heroux and Nichola Heroux. His family is from an Italian, French, and Catholic background. He was educated at Franklin Academy High School in Wake Forest. Alec is a saxophone player in the 440th Army Band, having trained at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and the Army School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Alec attended college at the University of South Carolina (USC) at Columbia and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). His first experience in acting was portraying Delbert Grady from "The Shining" at USC. His first and most well-known professional venture in acting was his role in "Beast of Burden."
