Local Pennsylvania polka legend Jan Lewan develops a plan to get rich that shocks his fans and lands him in jail.

A dramatization of the story of noted writer/journalist Cornelius Ryan, author of "The Longest Day," and the valiant battle against terminal cancer that led him to write about his ordeal, with the help of his loving wife, while at the same time determined to complete "A Bridge Too Far," which he had spent years researching.

"Saturday Night Square Dance" was released in 1949 as a Soundie. Featured here are Jim Boyd and His Men of the West. Jim Boyd was the brother of Bill Boyd, well known for western swing music, and this film combines some western swing music with calls. The footage shows some fine examples, like the styling sometimes called the Abilene Lift.
