Jeremy Pope (born July 9, 1992) is an American Broadway theater performer, actor, and singer. He became the sixth person in Tony Award history to be nominated in two categories for separate performances during the same year, when he received nominations for Choir Boy and Ain't Too Proud in 2019, the latter of which also earned him a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album nomination.

In 2020, Pope starred in the Netflix miniseries Hollywood, which earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.

Dealing with the painful experiences of the early days of the AIDS crisis when everything was still mysterious, the play dramatizes the struggle among gay men over which strategies would save their lives. Larry Kramer was a distinguished novelist, playwright, and screenwriter, and a pioneering AIDS activist. In 1982, he co-founded Gay Men's Health Crisis, and then in 1987, he founded ACT UP. He died at the age of eighty-four in May, 2020. He is survived by his husband, David Webster.
