Mehdi, 17 years old, arrives in a sawmill in the Monts du Forez to serve a sentence of community service. He is placed with Abel and Marie Vagney, in the family sawmill. Mehdi finds it difficult to adapt and his relationship with Abel is strained. However, between the young man and Abel, bonds are formed.
