Just A Dream is very much a bookend of an incredible year for Paul Weller. Comprising the full 90-minute live session recorded by Paul for the BBC with six previously unseen performances; alongside a five song session recorded for Channel 4,and an exclusive and candid interview with Paul and his band.

At The BBC features the best of Paul’s BBC TV performances recorded throughout his solo career. Essentially, an alternative ‘greatest hits’ set, the set includes versions of 16 hits singles, some classic Jam tracks and some intriguing cover versions.

In an exclusive BBC4 session filmed at BBC Television Centre, Paul Weller performs numbers from his album 22 Dreams, solo hits including From the Floorboards Up and Peacock Suit, and a couple of classics from The Jam's back catalogue. Weller performs with his regular five-piece band and is joined on some numbers by the Wired Strings and a brass section. He also has special guests, including Oasis guitarist Gem Archer on Echoes Round the Sun, fiddle player Eliza Carthy on Wild Wood and Where'er You Go and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon on Black River.

In January 2007 a fantastic line-up of guests gathered at the Roundhouse in London to pay tribute to the late Jim Capaldi of Traffic and to raise money for his children's charity The Landmark Trust. Old friends such as Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens), Pete Townshend of The Who, Joe Walsh of The Eagles, Jon Lord of Deep Purple, Gary Moore, Dennis Locorriere of Dr Hook and of course his Traffic colleague Steve Winwood, were joined by younger admirers such as Paul Weller and The Storys to perform their favourite Traffic and Jim Capaldi tracks in front of a sell out audience. In the 80s Paul Weller belonged to the group of major whizz-kids in the European music scene - first with "The Jam" and then with the British group "The Style Council". Lyricist, singer and musician Paul Weller, together with keyboardist Mick Talbot, released their first and successful album "Introducing the Style Council". Their music style increasingly took on the typical elements of black funk and white soul, but the lyrics became more and more socialcritical, in contrast to their playful music. Some of their greatest chart hits in Great Britain were "Money Go Round" - Number 11 in 1983 - and "Shout to the Top" - Number 7 in 1984, both of which can be heard in this concert recording. In connection with the concert, Full House moderator Alan Bangs interviews Paul Weller on the originality of pop music.

At The Royal Albert Hall, London on 8th April 2004 after some 15 months of planning with Paul Weller, Ronnie Wood, Pete Townshend, Steve Ellis, Midge Ure, Ocean Colour Scene amongst them artists assembled to perform to a sell-out venue and to pay tribute to a man who co-wrote many Mod anthems such as ""Itchycoo Park, All Or Nothing, Here Comes The Nice, My Mind's Eye"" to name just a few. Ronnie Lane was the creative heart of two of Rock n Rolls quintessentially English groups, firstly during the 60's with The Small Faces then during the 70;s with The Faces. After the split of the Faces he then formed Slim Chance and toured the UK in a giant circus tent as well as working in the studio with Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend and Ronnie Wood. 5,500 fans looked on in awe at The R.A.H as the superb evening's entertainment ended with ""All Or Nothing"" featuring a surprise appearance by Chris Farlowe on lead vocals.

The Complete Jam serves up a staggering 49 performances, divided between 16 promotional videos (previously available on the |Video Snap VHS collection), a seven-song excerpt from a 1980 live show, and a staggering 26 more drawn from the best of the band's television performances, ranging from their U.K. debut on Marc Bolan's fondly remembered Marc through to their nine-song farewell performance on The Tube. A talented musician fraught with a troubled career, Steve Marriott is best remembered as the frontman for the mod band the Small Faces, which also included Ronnie Lane, and future Who drummer Kenny Jones. At odds with his fame and dogged by the constant near-miss of success, Marriott nonetheless played with a passion and innovation that has inspired generations. His early demise when his house caught fire was a tragedy to the music world, and his popularity has, ironically, only grown since his death. This footage documents the concert held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Marriott's death.

One of the benefits of a great live performance DVD is that it captures the artist at a specific point in time, age, experience and creative output. Three of a Kind was a British comedy sketch show starring comedians Tracey Ullman, Lenny Henry and David Copperfield. Three series were made by the BBC between 1981 and 1983. The show bolstered the careers of Ullman and Henry, as well as being an outlet for young writers including Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, Ian Hislop and Nick Revell. Ullman and Henry went on to greater success after the show, with Ullman initially launching a brief but successful pop career in 1983 before starring in the ITV sitcom Girls On Top in 1985 and then going on to a high profile career on American television. Henry was given his own BBC series The Lenny Henry Show in 1984 and he remains a semi-regular fixture on British television to this day. Copperfield, however, garnered less success and has been seen relatively little since the series ended.
