Offshore is a Norwegian soap opera. We follow the Wahrings at Sanden beach hotel. It originally aired on NRK from 23 Oktober 1994 to 12 Mars 1995.

Based on three classic Norwegian folk tales collected by Asbjørnsen and Moe: The Little Boys Who Met the Trolls in Hedal Forest, Three Lemons and The Twelve Wild Ducks.

The bothers Ken and Bent are separated when their parents are divorced, and grow up as very different persons, before they meet as grown ups. They help each other out, but some years later Bent disappears. Only his crashed Buick is found.

The Olsen Gang realizes that cash is obsolete with the current inflation rate, and plans a coup for property and bonds. They make a fake company and tries to buy Oslo's biggest shopping mall, Steen and Strøm.

Norwegian Mystery

A group of migratory rail road workers arrive in a small town in Norway, and cause social conflict. One of the men, Sjugur, stands apart as a strong, independent man. The girls like him, but he has set his sights on the daughter of a wealthy landowner.

Den siste Fleksnes (English: The last Fleksnes) is a 1974 Norwegian comedy film directed by Bo Hermansson, starring Rolv Wesenlund and Aud Schønemann. The film is based on the television sitcom Fleksnes Fataliteter.Marve Fleksnes (Wesenlund) lives a comfortable life with his mother (Schønemann), but misses a woman in his life. He is afraid he might become the last Fleksnes. His mother enrols him in a charm school, where he excels. At the same time, a young lady moves into the apartment across the hall.

On a small green island out in the sea, they live in harmony - until a stranger comes. Like a hurricane this rocks the small society, and a killing lets all hidden forces loose.

His incredibly dog Buck is by his side and part of how he survives.

In 1890, Pontus, the starving writer, wanders the streets of Christiania, in search of love and a chance to get his work published. One autumn day, Ivar goes to the Botanical Garden in Oslo to visit Maria who is the mother of a little girl named Tilla. Ivar is a child psychologist and had Tilla observed a few months earlier. Treatment for her was agreed upon, but Maria has not returned with Tilla. Now Ivar finds her sleeping under a tree in the garden, and he meets Maria bent over a microscope in the laboratory. Maria has become even more nervous and unbalanced than the last time he met her, because nothing has been "corrected" as quickly as she had hoped -- Tilla has not spoken now for a year and a half. Maria herself is on her way to being as closed off as her own little girl. Ivar persuades Maria to come to the pediatric psychiatric clinic with Tilla so they can begin her treatment. There she meets Mimi Backer. But neither does Mimi get Maria to open up about her experiences with Tilla. In the clinic's observation room, however, the first little flicker of light falls on the mystery...

I Faresonen is a combination of a documentary and fictional approach to the problem of alcoholism -- or alcohol dependency. Tackling a problem common to other Nordic countries as well, director Bjoern Breigutu has focused on the life of sailors, among others, and how alcohol is used or abused in that sector of the population. This was the Norwegian entry at the 1961 Berlin Film Festival.

Milja, living in Kristiania in the late 1800s, becomes pregnant, but the father of the child, Julius, is not around after the child has been born and Milja decides to adopt it. Milja struggles to live with her decision.

The story takes place in a hedmark built during some summer weeks.
