The movie consists of three short stories that share a common satirical theme: alcoholism and drunkenness. The stories are "Such an imprudence!," "According to the laws of hospitality," "100 grams for bravery".

The old peasant Minago Iremadze and his wife miss their children who live in the city. The older brother married a city girl, the younger studies there. Minago decides to bring them back home. He goes to the city and tells everything to his sons. The brothers understand their dad well but cannot abandon the city life.

The young craftsman Gogia and the village girl Tasia fall in love with each other. In Georgia during WWII Zurikela, an orphan boy, meets Khatia, a blind girl, and vows to help her to see again.
