The episodes will present different sections of the decade and tell about the rise of Russian cinema, which began with the release of Timur Bekmambetov's "Night Watch", the economic euphoria that covered Russia with the rapid growth of oil prices, Moscow nightlife, the appearance of the shows "The Last Hero", "Dom-2" and "Star Factory", as well as the development of A significant element of the mass culture of those years was Russian rap.

A biographical film about the popular rap artist Detsl, whose real name is Kirill Tolmatskiy. The rap artist passed away at the age of 35 in 2019.

1991 the Soviet Union disappeared with the collapse of the country, some DJs turn towards the techno music and LSD, the capital starts to beat with a very different rthym. The directorOlga Darfy remembers her city Moscow, her youth and everyhting she lived during her 20s. Her friend Vanya Salmaksov one of the creator of the parties called GAGARIN PARTIES disappeared in 1998. The director decides then to tell about this dizzying time from fragments of experiencess interviewes, archives and memories asking herself and the people she meets in this journey: where is Vania? Where are all this intense emotions, the excitation, the romanticism? Where this time has gone?

The film tells a story about the latest musical revolution in recent history – the early days of the rave scene and the golden age of techno culture. International political changes in the mid-80s and early 90s, including the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union, in a short period of time allowed this cultural phenomenon to become a mass movement which was almost completely independent from the global corporations and which did not fight with the system but created its own system.
