After leaving her boyfriend, veterinary surgeon Kam Wai-ting moves to Sai Kung with her beloved dog Donut and starts a new life. At her new workplace, Wai-ting meets animal communicator Wong Sing-yan. The duo often quarrel due to their different values regarding pets. In an accident, Sing-yan acquires skills for communicating with Donut, and a man and a dog gradually build a friendship and help each other. Sing-yan learns from Donut that Wai-ting has some love issues, so he helps her decipher her conundrum. The duo's relationship improves, and they gradually like each other. However, they do not have feelings of affection due to their age difference. Donut wants to play matchmaker for the duo, but it gets into hilarious situations. And its ideas even backfire. Each of the duo also has their own admirers, resulting in more obstacles in their relationship.

The Season of Fate is a 2010 TVB television drama from Hong Kong produced by Nelson Cheung. The story takes place in a beautiful southern town. Lian Shuangchun (Guan Yonghe) and Wang Ruolan (Mi Xue) are dependent on each other. They run a tavern, but because of Lian Shuangchun’s poor cooking skills and Wang Ruolan’s Insanity and almost nothing. 　　 Ma Yongzhen (played by Guo Jinan) is a gangster who makes money and cheats, eats and drinks. A Bride for a Ride is a 2009 Hong Kong television series based on the traditional Pingtan story of the same name. To prove his worth to Wong Sau-ying, his ideal lover, he cross dresses as a beauty in a lantern festival so he can get closer to her. Sau-ying's older brother, Tiger Wong, sees Man-bun's beauty and kidnaps him home. A Bride for a Ride consists of elements of Cantonese opera. Chin Kar-lok, who stars as Tiger Wong, is also the drama's action choreographer.

The King of Snooker is a TVB television drama miniseries revolving around the sport of snooker in Hong Kong. It was originally broadcast by the network in 2009, from 30 March through 24 April, and subsequently re-released on DVD in several translations.
