He has directed episodes of many TV series, including The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Smallville, Doogie Howser, M.D., and L.A. Law. He also directed the feature film Star Trek Generations (1994). He is married to actress Kim Braden, with two children.
