Taxi driver Larisa Aidarova from a small seaside town is preparing for the wedding with her beloved Maksim, with whom she has been working and living together for more than a year. But all plans collapse when Maksim is detained on suspicion of murder.

The case brings two older women together. Lonely and embittered by the whole world, Zhenya is forced to unite with the eccentric and good-natured Mila in order to get out of the circumstances in which they found themselves thanks to a chance acquaintance with two young frivolous neighbors.

Every woman considers herself happy if she finds three people in one man: a lover, a husband and a father. The heroine of the film did not have this happiness. Mario, an Italian, is the one who replaces her father in her life. Gunar, a private detective, claims to be a lover. The one who could become her husband disappears at the beginning of the film.
