The event took place on January 4, 2020, at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 29th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and the 14th promoted under the Wrestle Kingdom name. The main event of night one saw Kazuchika Okada defend the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Kota Ibushi. In other prominent matches, Jay White defended the IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Tetsuya Naito, the returning Hiromu Takahashi took on Will Ospreay for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, Jon Moxley fought Lance Archer in a Texas Death match for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship and FinJuice (Juice Robinson and David Finlay) took on the Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) for the IWGP Tag Team Championship.

Dominion 6.19 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on June 19, 2010, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. The event featured nine matches, three of which were contested for championships. It was the 16th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and the first held under the new "Wrestle Kingdom" name. The show marked the 35th anniversary celebration for NJPW, who teamed up with one-time rival promotion AJPW to produce the show. Headlined by two title matches, contested for NJPW's top title, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, and AJPW's top title, the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship, as well as the reunion of Keiji Mutoh and Masahiro Chono, all in all, the event featured nine matches.

Collision in Korea was the largest professional wrestling pay-per-view event ever that was jointly produced by World Championship Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. It took place over a period of two days on April 28 and 29, 1995, but did not air in North America until August 4, 1995, when WCW broadcast a selection of matches from the show on pay-per-view. The event was the first PPV from a North American wrestling promotion to be held in North Korea. The main event was Ric Flair versus Antonio Inoki. Other aired matches include The Steiner Brothers vs Hiroshi Hase & Kensuke Sasaki, Tadao Yasuda vs Road Warrior Hawk, Shinya Hashimoto defending the IWGP Heavyweight Belt vs Scott Norton, and several other matches.
