Short story which describes that each of us has weaknesses, against which our conscience stands. And all of us always or rarely tries to agree with it. This life dilemma is understandable and close to everyone. The film gives an opportunity to viewers to look at yourself from the side and, causing them a smile, maybe, to reconsider their relationship with conscience in something. The film is embodied in the genre of tragicomedy on the verge of farce, will be interesting to the general public as well as to the experienced viewer.

This fairy tale tells about famous Ukrainian warriors Cossacks, about Paradise and hell, Christmas and evil forces. The Devil makes an agreement with St. Peter. If he can capture the best Cossack warrior and hold him until Christmas night, he will be able to wipe all the Cossacks off the map. The script for the movie is based on Sashko Lirnyk's story "About an old Cossack, a Christmas devil, four horns and a Cossacks".

Motherly love has no limits. When a son is in danger, the mother does not hesitate to rush to his aid. For the sake of saving the child, she is ready to do anything. She even is ready to go through the hell of war. When Sofia finds out that a transport plane, the pilot of which is her son, was shot down, she sets off for the front line. So Boris returns to his profession and gets a job as an expert in the investigative department, which is headed by Major Anna Voskresenskaya. Anna was once a student of Krylov. Now Krylov and Voskresenskaya will have to work together. While solving crimes, the heroes deal with their past and feelings for each other.
