Kacie Sheik was born in New Jersey, USA to parents John and Deborah Sheik. At the age of 16, she began studying voice, music and acting at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia before she headed out on a year long touring production. After the year long tour, Kacie relocated to New York City, where she has lived ever since.

Kacie is well known for portraying the character of Jeanie for four years in several productions of the musical Hair.
