The series revolves around the feuding factions of the wealthy Gioberti/Channing family in the Californian wine industry. Jane Wyman starred as Angela Channing, the tyrannical matriarch of the Falcon Crest Winery, alongside Robert Foxworth as Chase Gioberti, Angela's nephew who returns to Falcon Crest following the death of his father. The series was set in the fictitious Tuscany Valley northeast of San Francisco.

It follows a struggling father who unwittingly becomes “Death”, and must find a way to escape and reunite with his daughter. Lawrence Kao plays Daniel, a single father deceived into a treacherous career as the grim reaper, while his precocious daughter Collette (Kai Cech) grows increasingly suspicious of his whereabouts.

An asylum in West Virginia and the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area are the backdrop to this dark psychological thriller, which unravels a complex chain of events between action, intrigue and religion: a detective, a sheriff and a psychologist must solve a series. of murders parallel to biblicalism before a symbol of them becomes the next sacrificial victim.

Jim (Larry Herron), is a widower trying to raise his daughter while keeping the peace in a small town. While dealing with his debt to Victor (Tom Sizemore), a mobster, a monster is awakened and begins to wreak havoc. Shara Connolly plays Darla, owner of the local diner; Jaime Gallagher plays the monster; and Brian Thompson plays Al, one of Victor's goons.
