A single father and his two adult twin children go on a sailing holiday to the island of Poros, where the twins come across and befriend two girls, and get to meet their parents – including, unbeknownst to them, their birth mother, who abandoned them when they were small.

The brutal circle of the Eurogroup meetings, who impose on Greece the dictatorship of austerity, where humanity and compassion are utterly disregarded. A claustrophobic trap with no way out, exerting pressures on the protagonists which finally divide them.

Yorgos lives on his own in Athens. He lacks purpose, self-confidence, identity and peer acceptance. He fills the void by becoming the 'Red Hulk', as he is known at his football team's fan club. Until the day he gets involved in racial violence, entailing new problems and dilemmas.

Dimitris Papaioannou's new piece is a "dissection of the male psyche," and seems to draw upon a range of influences including the work of Jean Genet, Rene Magritte and Robert Wilson. Inspiration for the show also came partly from Papaioannou's own experiences as a gay man in Greece.
