UFC Fight Night 70: Machida vs. Romero was a mixed martial arts event held on June 27, 2015, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event was headlined by a middleweight bout between former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and 2000 Summer Olympics silver medalist in freestyle wrestling Yoel Romero.

UFC Fight Night 42: Henderson vs. Khabilov was a mixed martial arts event held on June 7, 2014, at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A lightweight bout between former WEC and UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson and Rustam Khabilov served as the event headliner.

UFC 169: Barao vs. Faber II was a mixed martial arts event held on February 1, 2014, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

WEC 37: Torres vs. Tapia was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting on December 3, 2008 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event aired live on the Versus Network. WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres successfully defended his title again against Manny Tapia in the main event of the evening. In addition, former IFL standout Wagnney Fabiano made his WEC debut on this card. The Mark Munoz-Ricardo Barros fight was the final light heavyweight bout to be put on by the WEC. The division was absorbed into the UFC following this event. The event drew an estimated 671,000 viewers on Versus.
