Jermelle Simon was born the son of a humble shipyard father and nurse mother in Florence, South Carolina. This small town boy always felt out of place knowing he was destined to do great things and reallocate to facilitate his acting dreams in Hollywood, California. He was raised to be a family oriented man which parallels his personality of being welcoming, polite, outgoing.

Yet his focused drive had his heart to yearn many questions of becoming an actor. This tenacity made him dedicate his life to the training of an actor both in front and behind the camera. He then moved to Hollywood California and landed his first role in theater to perfect his craft. A role in the widely popular director Don B Welch play "Silence". His performance was so such a stand out he then landed the lead role in Don B Welch's following Stage Play "Livin Aint easy, Dying Aint Beautiful" Playing the role of Hassan Williams showcased his ability to perform drama and comedy to a perfection. This has continued his success in a 3rd Don B Welch play "Walking By Faith".
