DUEL is a psychological and spiritual indie-short horror film inspired by actual events that took place in the suburbs of Long Island, NY circa 1979. The film stars Jordan Isaiah White from the major motion picture TheBlackPhone and Mike Stanly from the series Ozark. DUEL is the first Production from actor John C. Martin and the 5th collaboration between John and award winning Director Nicholas Crocket.

A modern teen movie following Sam and JJ, two 18-yr-olds facing adulthood. When it becomes clear Sam intends to leave their small town for new adventures in California, JJ dares her to let him prove why Ohio is worth sticking around for.

Finney Blake, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.
