Piia Pasanen

Piia Pasanen (born April 17, 1973 in Kuopio, Finland) is a Finnish journalist and news anchor at Yle. Pasanen previously worked as a sports journalist for Urheiluruutu, later becoming a reporter for the TV news. Pasanen also hosted Yle TV2's Poliisi-tv in the 1990s and Tangomarkkinat in the 2010s. In the 2000s and 2010s, she hosted the Finnish Independence Day celebrations at the President's Castle.

Pasanen has a Master's degree in Social Sciences from Tampere University.
