Dan Katz

Dan Katz

Born: January 30, 1985
in Chicago, Illinois, USA
Dan Katz is a Massachusetts native who joined Barstool Sports in the company’s early days, as one of their first content creators in what might have been a “right place, right time” situation.

He has built up a social media following of more than 1 million people, with the bulk of that success coming as a result of the Pardon My Take podcast, which he launched through Barstool in 2016 and co-hosts with the also popular personality PFT Commenter.

The popularity of PMT, as it’s known among its fans, has helped vault Katz into more mainstream media. He hosted ESPN’s late-night show Barstool Van Talk, but it was canceled after airing a single episode because of pushback against the network because of controversies surrounding Barstool.

Other shows on which Katz is a regular contributor include PFT Live, The Dan Patrick Show, and Men in Blazers. It has also led to Katz co-hosting another podcast, The Corp, with one of the biggest names in sports in the 21st century, Alex Rodriguez, which Barstool launched in 2019.
