When her friends see her talk to the driver, they start to believe that she is Brenner's fiancée. The manager of the theater, Gravander, gives her the leading part in his latest show, in order to befriend Brenner. Bertil Dahl deals with bonds at a bank. He dislikes that his colleagues are lying to customers to sell more bonds and pledges to tell the truth for 24 hours. But the social life is smoothed by using white lies and Bertil's truth-telling is making everybody upset. Plot by Mattias Thuresson.

The comic misadventures of two young boys and an anti-militaristic grocer who are recruited under protest for naval training.

Julia works as a cashier at a piano factory in Stockholm. She and a couple friend go on a ski vacation to northern Sweden, while her boss at the piano factory notices there a money missing in cash register. He suspects Julia who have to prove her innocence.

The aristocratic count Hägerskiöld is very proud of his swine Helen of Troy who wins a prize every year as the best swine in the area. This year his son Claes-Ferdinand needs money to get married with Pyret, a chorus-girl. His father won't give him any so he steals the swine, expecting that his father will give a reward to anyone who can find her.

The sailor Axel Nord is asked by his captain to do him a favor before his leave begins. Captain Rundholm wants him to give a letter to his niece in Stockholm. As Nord discovers, it isn't easy to find somebody you never have met, and it isn't made easier by the fact that some crooks believe that the letter contains evidence proving embezzlement in the shipping company.

Wholesaler Berggren's daughter Elin travels to Örebro to spend her honeymoon with her husband Efraim. They get separate rooms on the hotel and later that night she finds another woman in her husband's bed. She goes back home immediately. Two marines go AWOL and save a girl from drowning, they then sneak her aboard the ship.

"The Russian Cold" - Kalle Brodin, the leader of the Swedish communists, just released from a short prison term, don't know what to do with the directives that comes from Moscow.

Mr. Miller is the CEO of a big soap company whose son Henry like to spend his father's money but isn't interesting in working. Henry's laziness makes Mr. Miller upset and stressed out, so he assigns his young secretary (who the son also is in love with) to figure out a way to make Henry work and she will get 10,000 crowns ($1000). But things doesn't really to turn out the way Mr. Miller imagined.

The poor tailor of Ebberöd is visited by his American cousin, John Andrews. He brings a bag, and the local gossip has it that he has brought 20 million with him. The tailor, the miller and a rich widow decides to open a bank. The business is excellent - they lend out money at 4 percent interest rate but gives 8 percent on the savings accounts.

The Karlsson family has a grocery store, but the son Bertil wants to set up an operetta on stage.

The wholesaler Blomberg is a regular customer of "Parfumerie Marie Danielsson". He often buys perfume for his many girlfriends. Blomberg's driver Bengt Lundgren is in love with the shop assistant Eva Bergström. Bengt deceives his boss by telling him that his car has broken, then he can go out with Eva.

Eva is an employee in a fashion store. One day she finds cruise tickets in the name of Bo Stensjö and boards the ship pretending to be his wife. Things get awkward when Stensjö eventually boards the boat himself and is informed that his "wife" is already aboard....

Lola Brio has a large number of professions. She is partly a revue primadonna and gramophone singer, but the nameplate on her door also reads "Lessons in French and Grace", which of the film's act to judge apparently means that she is partly a luxury prostitute and partly takes care of country girls to give them some posture of polish.
