Otvorena vrata, is a Serbian comedy television series filmed in 1994-1995. Broadcast on state television RTS, it ran for 2 seasons featuring a regular family living in Belgrade during the 1990s. The show was created by Biljana Srbljanović and Miloš Radović, starring Vesna Trivalić, Milan Gutović, Bogdan Diklić, Nikola Đuričko, Sofija Jović, Bojana Maljević, Olivera Marković and Zoran Cvijanović, with guest stars such as: Mirjana Karanović, Nikola Simić, Seka Sablić, Branka Katić, Mira Stupica. The show had many reruns over the following years, and acquired a cult following. Interestingly, even in the first few years after the Yugoslavian leader's death, the subject matter of this film was considered too hot to handle, and the director had to appeal to the courts for permission to shoot it. In the story, Martin is a schoolboy with a sense of the absurd and a willingness to use ridicule to amuse himself and his classmates. He has an uncle who is high up in the nation's bureaucracy who protects him and his grandfather now that his father has died. His grandfather is too stubborn to give his farm to the local farming collective, and Martin himself is in hot water with the principal for making fun of his girlfriend, one of the students at the high school. However, as long as the uncle is able to protect them, they remain out of hot water.

A group of musicians, whose band is called "Balkan express", in fact a quintet of small-time crooks , trying to make some money in Nazi-occupied Serbia.

Mihajlo, an introvert piano teacher starts romance with a pretty careerist who teaches modeling at the university in Belgrade where they both work. When their university wins a contest to hold public TV performance, Mihailo fails to play the piano on the decisive night and she dumps him. The boiling point is about to come.
