A group of teenagers dare each other to touch a cursed oak tree which leads to the disappearing of one of the group and another gets a rash on her palm leading to a battle for survival.

A housekeeper from El Salvador brings her teenage son to help her clean an affluent family’s Los Angeles home. But after being told by her employers that immigration officers are searching for her, she accepts the invitation to shelter in their house until the crisis blows over.
