Alarm in den Bergen was a German thriller television series which was broadcast on ZDF in 1965. The 13-part series is set in the Bavarian Alps, in the border area around Garmisch.

Twenty years later Haldor's daughter Gunna and Salvör's son Ragnar, are falling in love with each other. And only now Haldor learns from Salvör that Ragnar is his son.

Winter 1942: Like thousands of other German soldiers, Asch and Vierbein have ended up at the Eastern front.
