He once won the national martial arts championship, and his swordsmanship, cudgel, and southern boxing were all unparalleled. Now the United States promotes Chinese martial arts. He won first place in the traditional boxing category three and traditional equipment category two at the 1982 National Martial Arts Performance Competition; Co starred with Jet Li in three films: "Shaolin Temple", "Kids From Shaolin" and "Martial Arts of Shaolin".
